Joe's Oyster Bar is located in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico.

It is located right on the beach in the main tourist area (called the Golden Zone) of Mazatlán in the Gaviana Resort complex.  The hotel was formerly called the Ramada Mazatlan Resort and prior to that the Los Sabalos hotel.

Joe's Oyster Bar is also located right next door to the Hotel Playa Mazatlán, which is one of the most iconic hotels in town and very popular with Canadian tourists!

If you are in Mazatlán, you can get to Joe's Oyster bar by car, bus, taxi, walking, or swimming!

By Car: If you have a car, you can drive.  It is a short way up Avenida Gaviotas from where it intersects with Avenida Camaron Sabalo.

By Bus: You can take the Camaron Sabalo bus which runs down Avenida Camaron Sabalo/Avenida del Mar through the Golden Zone to downtown and back.  Get off the bus in front of the Burger King on Avenida Camaron Sabalo and walk one block west.

By Taxi: You can take a taxi or "Pulmonia" (open-air taxi that looks like a golf cart). Just tell the driver that you want to go to the Oyster (i.e. El Oyster!) and he will know where you want to go!.

By Walking: You can also walk.  Joe's Oyster Bar is a short walk from most of the major hotels in the Golden Zone.

By Swimming: Finally, you can swim to Joe's Oyster Bar.  Since Joe's is located right on the beach this has been done!!!

So, you have no excuse to not come to Joe's Oyster Bar!

There are many ways to enter Joe's Oyster Bar.

From the street, enter from the main gate of Gaviana Resort, turn right, and walk straight up the road beside the hotel towards the beach to the main entrance of Joe's Oyster Bar.

You can also enter from the street where there is also a small gate next to the Joe's Oyster bar store.  At night this gate is normally locked.  From this gate, just walk straight up the road and you will see the main entrance of Joe's Oyster Bar.

During the day, you can enter from the beach.  So, if you are walking or swimming past on the beach, just walk up the stairs of the beach entrance and you are there!

Additionally, if you are staying at the Gaviana Resort, you can get to Joe's by taking the path on the north side of the pool area via the volleyball court.

There is some street parking in front of the hotel complex.  Also, there is some parking available on the road to the entrance to Joe's inside the complex.  This parking usually fills up at night.
