- Supposedly opens at 11am, but isn’t worth going to until 2pm at the earliest.
- Happy Hour (2 for 1 beer) all day long.
- Closes at 2am Sunday to Thursday.
- Closes at 4am on Fridays and Saturdays.
- There is a cover charge on Friday and Saturday nights after about 9pm. The cover includes a ticket for 1 (i.e. 2 beers) or 1 mixed drink.
- From November to April, any afternoon is a good time to go to Joe’s
- The nighttime party starts late in Mazatlán. People only really start showing up after 10:30pm most nights.
- Sunday afternoons are good all year round as this is the day which most locals do not have to work.
- Friday and Saturday nights are packed. Lots of Mexicans from Culiacan (state capital 3 hours north of Mazatlán) come to party.
- Joe’s is busier in the afternoons when there are cruise ships in port.
