Mazatlan Swine Flu Update - July 2009
Joe's staff taking H1N1 Swine Flu protection seriously
- Just returned from Mazatlan. We did not see any sick people. The locals say that the swine flu wasn't a problem in Mazatlan.
- You will notice more hand sanitizers around. Also, the bathrooms are better stocked with soap and towels due to the swine flu.
- When you arrive by air into Mazatlan you are now required to fill in a health questionaire.
- When you leave Mazatlan by air you need to go to a checkpoint to have your temperature measured by a thermal camera. They give you a piece of paper that you need to give the agents when you check in for your flight.
- Joe's Oyster Bar had reduced hours and the staff wore masks during the height of the swine flu epidemic, but everything has returned to normal. So, don't worry and come to Joe's.
