General Information
- Mazatlan hosts one of the biggest Carnivals (Mardi Gras) in the world.
- Mazatlan has had a Carnival for over 100 years.
- It is the final blowout party prior to lent each year.
- There are many events throughout Mazatlan.
- There are many pageants where they crown Queens and Kings.
- There are 2 huge parades down the Malecon. We love the balls of confetti that broken over people's heads!
- There are nightly street parties in Olas Altas with bands and lots of Pacifico beer!
- The best Carnival t-shirts are produced by the Pacific Pearl publishers and can be purchased at their offices on Avenida Camaron Sabalo in the Golden Zone.
