There are lots of new things at Joe's Oyster Bar
- The biggest news is that the Los Sabalos hotel is now the Ramada Mazatlan hotel.
- There are new metalic tables and chairs on the Volleyball court now for when it is busy on the weekends.
- The back wall is now painted white. Gone are the marine inspired murals. I hope they bring back the mural of the beautiful woman that they used to have on the wall!
- There is now a non-smoking section at Joe's. As far as I can tell it isn't enforced. They have a sign in the corner of the main palapa near the stairs to the beach. There is also a sign above the bar saying no smoking. This doesn't make sense because this sign is outside of the no smoking section.
- There appears to be wireless internet at Joe's. So, JoesOysterBar.com can now be updated right from inside Joe's.
- There is a new picket fence between Joe's Oyster Bar and the Hotel Playa Mazatlan.
- There is a new roped off section from Joe's Oyster Bar to the end of the Ramada Mazatlan property.
