Semana Santa is so busy with so many people you cannot even see the beach!
- Semana Santa (Easter) is the busiest time of the year in Mazatlan and at Joe's Oyster Bar.
- There are so many people that you can't see the beach (see photo above).
- It seems everybody from Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Mexico city go to the beach for semana santa.
- There is usually a small cover charge to get into Joe's during semana santa.
- There may be line ups to get into Joe's Oyster Bar during semana santa.
- The volleyball court is usually closed because there are so many people.
